This lecture provides an overview of the k ey record collections available online to research your Mexican and Mexica n-American ancestors. We will dig into a case study to demonstrate how to weave these records together to build out a robust life story. Learn how e ven non-Spanish speakers can be successful at this research. \nColleen Robledo Greene\, MLIS\, is an academic lib rarian\, college educator\, and tech nerd who has been researching her fam ily history since 1997. She is the Digital Literacy Librarian at Californi a State University\, Fullerton\, and teaches an online graduate-level gene alogical research methods course for San Jose State University. Colleen is a nationally recognized genealogy speaker and educator specializing in me thodology\, Mexican &\; Hispanic research\, libraries and archives\, an d technology. Her Mexican ancestors hail from San Luis Potosí\;\, Ch ihuahua\, Durango\, Tamaulipas\, and Nuevo Leon\, as well as California\, New Mexico\, and Texas.
