Books provide not only a mirror to your li fe\, but also a window. \; We will use picture books as a conversation starter and a way to explore subjects\, cultures and viewpoints in a safe environment with caregivers and children. \; Each month the group wil l explore a different topic and how it applies to our community. \; We will end each session with an activity or craft related to the topic.&nbs p\; The library will provide a selection of titles to take home\, if the c hild or adult wishes to explore the topic further. This discussion group i s for children in elementary school and their caregivers.
