Bexley area residents\, businesses\, and o rganizations are encouraged to \;join the City of Bexley\, Congregatio n Torat Emet\, and Bexley Public Library \;on December 1st at 5:00 pm for a &ldquo\;Main Street Outdoor Reading Room" Community Workshop. The wo rkshop will take place in the Quiet Reading \;Room of Bexley Public Li brary and will focus on proposed plans to develop \;an outdoor reading space located in between the library and \;Torat Emet Synagogue on Ea st Main Street.
\nConceived more than ten years ago\, the original o utdoor reading room \;concept was intended to create an inviting open- air space for library \;patrons to quietly sit and read. With the rece nt nationwide rise in popularity \;of outdoor gathering spaces\, this idea has renewed momentum and has \;been enhanced to include a perform ance area and to create a more public \;park-like feel. The &ldquo\;Ma in Street Outdoor Reading Room&rdquo\; will be a part of the \;City of Bexley&rsquo\;s 2023 Year of the Park.
\nDetails of the Reading Roo m&rsquo\;s proposed design will \;be shared during the workshop\, and participants will be encouraged to ask \;questions and provide input.
