In conjunction with the Cleveland Park His torical Society\, Camilla Carpenter\, Former Executive Director\, Clevelan d Park Historical Society\, will discuss the architectural history of Conn ecticut Avenue in Cleveland Park.

Carpenter moved to Cleveland Par k from New York City in 2000. Prior to her work with CPHS\, Camilla spent most of her career in television\, working at ABC News\, Home Box Office\, and Discovery Communications.

\n

She is an enthusiast of architectur al history\, and a big fan of the variety of architectural styles that enr ich the neighborhood. \; \;She is a firm believer that historic bu ildings and streetscapes should be celebrated and provide us with a deeper understanding of how the past relates to our present built environment.
