X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>Johan Frenje will share his experiences sa
lt and freshwater fly-fishing in New England and upstate New York. Differe
nt species\, such as the American shad\, striped bass\, blue fish\, king s
almon\, coho salmon\, steelhead\, and brown trout are targeted from April
to December.&nbsp\;Different fly-fishing techniques and approaches for the
different species will be presented in this seminar.</p>\n<p>In the off-s
eason\, Johan works on tying up new and improved flies for the different s
pecies\, based on the lessons learned\, which will also be discussed and s
hown in this presentation.</p>\n<p>Johan Frenje grew up in Sweden\, spendi
 ng time there fishing for perch\, northern pike\, trout\, char\, grayling\
, and salmon. His passion for fly fishing for big fish started in the mid-
90s when he realized he could target northern pike with the fly rod. Johan
moved to the Boston area in the late 90s for work. There he met a girl fr
om the Vineyard\, got married and had kids. About 20 years later\, his pas
sion is fly fishing the salt and freshwater in New England and upstate New
York. Morris Island and Monomoy flats were initially the saltwater region
s he fished the most. He moved to the MA north shore about 10 years ago an
d Cape Ann and Plum Island are now the areas he mainly fish these days\, b
ut he does fish the entire coastline from Housatonic in CT to Kennebec in
ME. On freshwater side\, he spends time fly fishing the Merrimack River an
d the Lake Ontario tributaries. For more information about Johan&rsquo\;s
 fishing\, see his Instagram page: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/frenj
 efly/">www.instagram.com/frenjefly</a>.</p>\n<p>Fishing videos will be sho
wn starting at 6:00pm. Join us for discussion and raffles. Johan's present
 ation will start at 7:00pm.</p>\n<p>This series is sponsored by the&nbsp\;
