Barbara Chatman is the Regional Development Director for the National Kidney Foundation of F lorida (NKFF). "Making A Difference Today For Someone Who's Fighting For T heir Tomorrow" is her mission. Barbara believes that she has a responsibil ity to educate others through her experiences\, which began with the diagn osis of kidney failure for her husband in 2017. Her personal experience cr eated an opportunity to become a volunteer with the NKFF and now as the Re gional Development Director\, she oversees the South Florida area. The Nat ional Kidney Foundation of Florida is a non-profit health organization\, d edicated to the prevention\, treatment\, and awareness of kidney disease. The mission of the NKFF is to prevent kidney disease\, improve the lives o f those affected with kidney disease\, and increase the availability of al l organs for transplantation.
