 as for books you can read for that one elusive category? Check out our Rea
 ding Challenge book club! Each month we'll get together to talk about that
  month's featured categories as well as books that you have read or will r
 ead for any of the categories in the challenge. No reading is required to 
 attend this book club\, just an interest in our reading challenge and the 
 ability to talk about great books!</p>\n<p>Featured categories:</p>\n<p>Ja
 nuary: A book you&rsquo\;ve read and loved before AND A book written befor
 e 2000</p>\n<p>February: A book in a genre you don&rsquo\;t usually read</
 p>\n<p>March: A book recommended by a library staff member</p>\n<p>April: 
 A historical book set in Africa AND A book in translation</p>\n<p>May: A b
 ook written by an author when they were under 30</p>\n<p>June: A book set 
 in a place you want to visit</p>\n<p><strong>July: A book read by a librar
 y book club in 2023 AND A book by a 2023 Lit Chat author</strong></p>\n<p>
 <strong>August: A self-improvement\, how-to\, or DIY book</strong></p>\n<p
 ><strong>September: A book with a non-human protagonist</strong></p>\n<p>O
 ctober: A book banned in the last 10 years AND A Nobel Prize winning book<
 /p>\n<p>November: A book with illustrations</p>\n<p>December: A book under
  300 pages</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Registration is required for this event\, and 
 must be completed two hours prior to the start time. A library card and PI
