  officials including Meade&rsquo\;s enemies\, Daniel&nbsp\;Sickles\, Danie
 l Butterfield and Abner Doubleday all testified. This program will explore
  the&nbsp\;Committee on the Conduct of War&rsquo\;s investigation into Mea
 de and consider the ways in which&nbsp\;these hearings influenced the gene
 ral&rsquo\;s reputation and standing.</p>\n<p>Dr. Jennifer M. Murray is a 
 military historian\, with specialization in the American Civil War\, in th
 e Department of&nbsp\;History at Oklahoma State University. Prof. Murray i
 s a prolific author and sought-after speaker. She is currently&nbsp\;worki
 ng on a full-length biography of George Gordon Meade\, tentatively titled 
 <em>Meade at War</em>.</p>\n<p>This program is presented as a public servi
 ce by the North Jersey Civil War Round Table and is the third of a a three
