 shares the individual experiences of a small group of elegant ladies who r
 epresent the 600\,000 Black women who fled their lives as domestics and sh
 arecroppers to work in factories and U.S. government offices during World 
 War II. These patriotic pioneers share their wartime memories\, recounting
  their battles against racism at home\, Nazism abroad\, and sexism everywh
 ere.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>This program is proudly presented in partnership with 
 over 50 Illinois public libraries and the College of DuPage.&nbsp\;</p>\n<
 p>Registration for adult and teen programs closes 12 hours before the prog
 ram. Please call the library to register if you miss the deadline.&nbsp\;<
 /p>\n<p>Communico registration with email address required for online prog
 ram access. You will be sent the program link via email upon registration.
 &nbsp\;If no one logs in to the virtual program\, staff will cancel the pr
 ogram and end the meeting at 10 minutes after the start time.</p>\n<p>Prog
