\n\nCaridad Moro-Gronlier (1969-) was born in Los Angeles\, California to Cub an immigrant parents who relocated to Miami\, FL in 1977. She is the autho r of TORTILLERA\, the winner of the Texas Review Press Southern Poetry Bre akthrough Prize for Florida (2021) and Visionware (2009) published by Fini shing Line Press as part of its New Women's Voices Series. She is also a c ontributing Editor of Grabbed: Writers Respond to Sexual Assault\, Empower ment and Healing published by Beacon Press (2020) and an Associate Editor for SWWIM Every Day\, an online daily poetry journal. Moro-Gronlier is the recipient of an Elizabeth George Foundation Grant and a Florida Individua l Artist Fellowship in poetry. Her work has been nominated for two Pushcar t Prizes\, several Best of the Net designations\, and a Lambda Literary Aw ard. A career educator\, she resides in Miami\, FL with her wife and son.< /p>\n
