X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>Come and watch the movie Soul at Damascus
 Library!</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Soul (2020)</p>\n<p>Joe Gardner is a middle-scho
ol band teacher who gets the chance of a lifetime to play at the best jazz
club in town. A misstep takes him from New York City to The Great Before\
, a fantastical place where new souls get their personalities before going
to Earth. Determined to return to his life\, Joe teams up with a precocio
us soul\, 22\, who has never understood the appeal of the human life. As J
oe tries to show 22 what's great about life\, he may discover the answers
to the most important questions.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Afrofuturism is a cultur
al aesthetic\, and philosophy of science and history that explores the int
ersection of the African diaspora culture with science and technology. It
addresses themes and concerns of the African diaspora through technocultur
e and speculative fiction\, encompassing a range of media and artists with
a shared interest in envisioning black futures that stem from Afro-diaspo
ric experiences. While Afrofuturism is most commonly associated with scien
ce fiction\, it can also encompass other speculative genres such as fantas
 y\, alternate history\, and magic realism.</p>\n<p><strong>Accommodation R
