 ts.html">Travel.State.Gov</a> to learn about the required documents and fo
 rms of payment needed for a successful passport application. This includes
 :</p>\n<ul>\n<li>A completed\, unsigned passport application (also known a
 s <a href="https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/need-passp
 ort/apply-in-person.html">Form&nbsp\;DS-11</a>)</li>\n<li>Proof of U.S. Ci
 tizenship (most common proof is original or certified copy of birth certif
 icate)</li>\n<li>Proof of Identity (most common proof is a driver's licens
 e or state ID)</li>\n<li>A check or money order to pay for <a href="https:
 //travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/fees.html">passpo
 rt fees</a></li>\n<li>Cash\, check\, or money order &mdash\; separate from
  passport fees &mdash\; to pay for the $35.00 execution fee</li>\n<li>A pa

 ong>UPDATE</strong>:</p>\n<p>This event is about guiding passport applican
 ts through the first step in the passport application process &mdash\; sub
 mitting required paperwork correctly and accurately\, verifying nationalit
 y\, and confirming identity. All paperwork and payments collected on April
  8 will be sent to the Department of State to complete the final steps of 
 the passport application process\, which takes an additional <strong>7-13 
 weeks</strong>. Those attending Passport Day at Main Library on April 8 <s
 trong>will not receive their actual passport that day</strong>.</p>\nhttps
