 ractive presentation by children&rsquo\;s science author Jennifer Swanson\
 , you will get an inside look at many awesome inventions being created by 
 engineers right now! All are based on animals\, some might live right in y
 our backyard. Then it&rsquo\;ll be YOUR turn! You&rsquo\;ll get instructio
 ns on how to go outside\, find an animal\, observe it\, and draw your own 
 bionic invention. What will YOU design? Be one of the first 40 children at

 m></p>\n<p><strong>About the author:</strong> Jennifer Swanson has a B.S. 
 in chemistry from the U. S. Naval Academy and an M.S. Ed in K-8 science fr
 om Walden University. In addition to being an award-winning author\, she i
 s also a middle school science instructor for John Hopkins University&rsqu
 o\;s Center for Talented Youth. She is the author of over 45+ nonfiction b
 ooks for children\, mostly about science and technology.</p>\n<p>Registrat
 ion is required for this event\, and must be completed two hours prior to 
 the start time. A library card is required for registration. If you do not
