A session for those who may not have any w riting underway and are seeking a way &lsquo\;in&rsquo\;. It covers all th e building blocks of a novel: character\, dialogue\, setting and plot. Eac h segment has fun exercises designed to stimulate the thinking of particip ants about how these areas work\, providing them some writing tools with w hich to develop their own work.

Presenter Alicia Thompson has a Ma sters in Creative Writing and has published reviews\, travel articles and short stories internationally in ezines and journals. Her novel Someth ing Else \;was released by NineStar Press in October 2021. She is currently working on two mystery/crime novels.

A short break will be provided mid-way through the workshop\, coffee and tea will be provide d. Some prior efforts at writing would be preferable but not necessary.
