 le" Reading Groups for Public Libraries for 2023. We will begin this year-
 long series with a discussion of&nbsp\;<em>On the Landing: Stories of Yent
 a Mash</em>. Naomi Brenner\, Associate Professor in the Department of Near
  Eastern and South Asian Languages and Cultures at The Ohio State Universi
 ty\, will co-facilitate the book discussion to provide cultural and histor
 ical contexts for these stories translated from Yiddish. Registration is r
 equired\; those who are registered for the reading group will receive a co
 py of&nbsp\;<em>On the Landing&nbsp\;</em>to read and return to the librar
 y after the book discussion.</p>\n<p>About the reading group:</p>\n<p>The 
 Yiddish Book Center&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;Stories of Exile&rdquo\; Reading Grou
 ps for Public Libraries is a reading and discussion program to engage teen
 s and adults in thinking about experiences of displacement\, migration\, a
 nd diaspora. In this program\, librarians organize reading groups to discu
 ss three books of Yiddish literature in translation\, and one book related
  to the experience of a community served by their library. The Yiddish Boo
 k Center&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;Stories of Exile&rdquo\; Reading Groups for Publ
