 sculptures- now its time to create a "book nook." A book nook is a decorat
 ion that can fit between the books on your bookshelf- think skinny diorama
 .&nbsp\; For this tiny art show\, we'll be giving you the basics to create
  the book nook\, but the creativity will be all you.&nbsp\; Will your book
  nook show a scene from outer space? From under the ocean? The setting of 
 your favorite book? Anything goes- the only thing you HAVE to include in y
 our book nook is a table on which we can see a mini book (supplies will be
  provided). Maybe this mini book will be the inspiration for your book noo
 k\, or maybe it will just be a book you and your family enjoy. Here is Ms.

 <strong>Here are the details about the event:</strong></span>&nbsp\;</p>\n
 <p>-<strong>Program supplies will be ready for pick-up between Friday\, Ju
 ne 2nd through Monday\, June 12th.</strong>&nbsp\; <strong>If you have not
  picked up your kit by June 12th (or made other arrangements by emailing <
 a href="mailto:crzeppa@gailborden">crzeppa@gailborden</a>.info)\, we will 
 release it to the next person on the waitlist</strong>.</p>\n<p>-This is a
  craft kit\; <strong>there is no program or Zoom</strong> associated with 
 this event.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>-Your family can decorate your book nook howeve
 r you choose\, but <strong>you will need to provide the necessary supplies
 </strong> (paint\, decorative paper\, stickers\, small 3D items\, accents 
 from nature).&nbsp\; The library will provide the book nook (a cereal box 
 reinforced and cut to size)\, a wooden cube and disk glued together as the
  mini table\, a mini book (that you can color and decorate)\, some popsicl
 e sticks (to use to help printed or drawn pictures stand upright)\, and an
  instruction flier with tips on creating your masterpiece.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</
 p>\n<p>-After you have finished your work of art\, return it to the librar
 y for the book nook expo. You'll have most of of June and some of July to 
 create it.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;<strong><span style="background-color: #99cc00\;">
 Completed book nooks must by returned to the Main Library (KidSpace) by no
  later than Wednesday\, July 12th.</span>&nbsp\;</strong>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>-
 Patrons will be able to <strong>vote for their favorite book nook starting
  Monday\, July 17\, 2023 through Friday\, July 28\, 2023</strong>.&nbsp\; 
 Come back and vote! The nook receiving the most votes will win a prize.</p
 >\n<p>-<strong>Participants can pick up their book nooks starting Wednesda
 y\, August 2nd.&nbsp\; At pick-up\, all participants will receive a certif
 icate of participation (or award\, if you are the winner) with their book 
 nooks.&nbsp\; </strong>All book nooks need to be picked up by Friday\, Aug
 ust 11\, 2023 unless other arrangements have been made with Ms. Carrie.&nb
 sp\;</p>\n<p>-Winner will be announced the week of Monday\, July 31\, 2023
