Historian Greg Caggiano will give a lectur e on the story of the Titanic\, from voyage to sinking. The presentation w ill examine passengers' life on the ship\, the Titanic's construction\, an d reasons why it sank. Caggiano will also discuss the culinary aspects of the journey\, such as the last meals served to the first\, second\, and th ird classes.
\nGreg Caggiano is a historian who has worked as an ins tructor for Brookdale Community College in their Lifelong Learning departm ent since 2014. In his spare time\, he has served on the Board of Director s of two museums: the Proprietary House in Perth Amboy\, and most recently the Atlantic Highlands Historical Society\, housed at the Strauss Mansion Museum. A firm believer in volunteering and giving back to the community\ , he has helped fundraise tens of thousands of dollars for historic preser vation over the years.
