Ukulele for Kids: A music group teaching the ukulele instrument. This grou p rocks! Participants will learn how to play chords on the ukulele and sev eral songs. This class will create opportunities \;for learning \; meaningful \;music skills\, \;following \;directions and learn ing fun songs for self-expression. This group will also help improve self- esteem as students share their new skills with their family\, friends\, an d community. \; \;
\nUkulele will be provided to use. Bring your own ukulele\, if you have one. \; \;
\nWhole Vibes Music Therapy and Less ons in South Florida was founded by Erica Lyles\, MT-BC (Board-Certified M usic Therapist) in 2018. \; We collaborate with clients of various abi lities\, backgrounds\, needs and ages through the power of music therapy\, music lessons\, adapted music lessons for our clients who learn different ly\, music groups and classes for infant through adult and birthday partie s. \; We also offer Interability Chorus and Theater programs for youn g adults with exceptionalities and special needs to allow them to express themselves creatively. Our \;philosophy is that anyone can participat e in or benefit from a music experience. \; It's just up to our team t o make it happen! \; Whole Vibes now has a team of 7 Board-Certified M usic Therapists and Music Teachers working in local schools\, special educ ation settings\, homes and private settings\, recreation and community set tings\, mental health settings\, geriatric and memory care units \;an d postpartum and baby settings. \; We are grateful to spread love and "Whole Vibes" \;through music and music therapy.
