Kate McKenzie holds a B.S. in Library Informatics from Northern Kentucky University. In 2020\, she received a Certificate in Gene alogical Research from Boston University and received her Master of Librar y and Information Science from Kent State University in 2022. Her interest s include research in Ohio\, Kentucky\, and West Virginia\, as well as res earch in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
