Ukulele for Teens: A music group teaching the ukulele instrument. This gro up rocks! Participants will learn how to play chords on the ukulele and se veral songs. This class will create opportunities \;for learning \ ;meaningful \;music skills\, \;following \;directions and lear ning fun songs for self-expression. This group will also help improve self -esteem as students share their new skills with their family\, friends\, a nd community. \; \;
\nUkulele will be provided to use. Bring your own ukulele \, if you have one. \; \;
\nWhole Vibes Musi c Therapy and Lessons in South Florida was founded by Erica Lyles\, MT-BC (Board-Certified Music Therapist) in 2018. \; We collaborate with clie nts of various abilities\, backgrounds\, needs and ages through the power of music therapy\, music lessons\, adapted music lessons for our clients w ho learn differently\, music groups and classes for infant through adult a nd birthday parties. \; We also offer Interability Chorus and Theater programs for young adults with exceptionalities and special needs to allo w them to express themselves creatively. Our \;philosophy is that any one can participate in or benefit from a music experience. \; It's jus t up to our team to make it happen! \; Whole Vibes now has a team of 7 Board-Certified Music Therapists and Music Teachers working in local scho ols\, special education settings\, homes and private settings\, recreation and community settings\, mental health settings\, geriatric and memory ca re units \;and postpartum and baby settings. \; We are grateful t o spread love and "Whole Vibes" \;through music and music therapy.
