She is also a 1st grade teacher. She th inks a lot about health. The health of a body and the mind\, the health of a system\, institution\, city\, environment. Health is dependent upon rel ationships\; how we integrate and balance. During a performance she tries to suspend judgment and create a condition necessary for relating. She lik es to find things that others have used and make new things with them. You can find some of these things at Fern &\; Reed \nKristina Lenzi (1966\, Salt Lake C ity\, UT\, USA) lives in Midvale\, Utah. She holds a BFA from the Universi ty of Utah in drawing and painting and an MFA from Tufts University in aff iliation with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts\, Boston in multidisci plinary art. She teaches art at Weber State University. Lenzi is the found er and curator of Salt Lake City Performance Art Festival. | 1:15&ndash\;2:15pm Urban Room | \n\; \; \; \; \; \; \;Collective \; \; \; \;Salt Lake City\, UT Interdisciplinary Arts Collective is a local group of musicians\, dancers\, poets\, actors\, artists\, and anti-artists. Our work focuses primarily on exploring the creative and communicative potential generated by the intersection and subversion of a rtistic disciplines\, particularly within the context of experimental and contemporary performance practices | \nFluxConcerts\, which were o riginally developed by Fluxus artists during a European performance tour i n 1962\, are characterized by the realization of Fluxus event scores. Thes e scores are text-based compositions that instruct the performers to inter pret and complete actions such as La Monte Young's Composition #10\, "Draw a straight line and follow it." Interdisciplinary Arts Collective's FLUXc oncert at this festival will draw on work from composers like George Brech t\, Yoko Ono\, Alison Knowles\, and others to feature multiple Flux scores that unfold\, intersect\, and overlap over the course of the performance\ , ranging from the absurd to the absurdly serious. \n | \n

approach to art\, incorporating elements of fitness and physical movement
into her work. She creates pieces that explore the human body and its rel
ationship to movement\, using mediums such as sculpture\, painting\, and p
erformance art. Her work aims to create a new perspective on fitness\, art
\, and how they can be intertwined and also reflects on the process of ove
rcoming burdens and physical challenges. \n | \nIn the rich tradition of Au tomatism\, where there are no preconceived ideas and without regard to con tent or subject matter\, Sam will seek to harness &ldquo\;the creativity o f the unconscious mind&rdquo\; in the act of artistic creation. The goal o f this entirely spontaneous piece is to provide viewers the opportunity to witness the birth and formation of a never-before-seen work of art. By th e conclusion\, a new artwork will be totally or substantially completed. T he audience will share in the anticipation and excitement of being there < i>At the Creation. | \n

Sun\, working at the interface between &l squo\;art&rsquo\;\, activism\, and spiritual practice\, simultaneously int egrates and deconstructs these multimodal languages of expression as means to identify and excavate the roots of freedom and humanity. Through acts of creative consolidation involving spiritual processes of ritual\, with p rotest tactics and creative abstract performance strategies\, Sun also int errogates the nature and limits of these roots. \nPreach R Sun &mdas h\; continuously building upon his living body of work\, OneMan: The Liber ation Project &mdash\; most often works on the street creatively incorpora ting his abstract performance focused strategies\, and ritualistic actions with political guerilla based tactics. nt and overcome their personal burdens through physical strength. Particip
ants will engage in back squats using Olympic barbells and bumper plates o
n which they can write their burdens. The goal of this performance is to p
rovide people with an empowering opportunity to physically express the act
of overcoming their burdens and promoting physical and mental well-being.

She has made works across the globe\, integr ating her learning of new cultures with personal experience. Sinead uses h er body to create works that reference the challenging experiences that wo men face across the world: she gives a voice to those that have been silen ced. Previous works have addressed: violence\; grief\; being neuro-diverse in a neuro-typical world\; inclusion\; and exclusion. \n | \
