\nLisa Shen (she/her) is a writer and spoken word artist base d in Toronto\, Canada. Her work centers on feminism and gender-based viole nce\, with secondary focuses on Chinese-Canadianism\, disability\, and que er identity. A winner of multiple slam and poetry awards\, she has feature d at arts festivals and events across North America\, and has various work s published. Lisa is the Director of Sauga Poetry\, Mississauga&rsquo\;s h ub for spoken word events\, and recently won the 2022 Buddies Queer Emergi ng Artists Award for Spoken Word/Poetry for her contribution to community. Dedicated to uplifting spoken word across the Greater Toronto Area\, she works with high schools to bring poetry into the classroom.
