 d.&nbsp\;You can bring along a poem of yours to share at the Open Mic\, or
  read something you create at the event. Everyone who shares a poem will r
 eceive a prize!&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Co-sponsored by Friends of the Library\, Mo
 ntgomery County.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;W<strong>hat is a Teen Advisory Board?</st
 rong></p>\n<p>TAB is a group of library teen volunteers that helps the lib
 rary and the community by implementing\, promoting and advocating for yout
 h services in Montgomery County.</p>\n<p>The Teen Advisory Board will prov
 ide feedback on programs\, assist librarians with planning and running eve
 nts and will be library advocates.</p>\n<p>The Teen Advisory Board meets o
 nce a month. We typically meet one Saturday each month.&nbsp\; For attendi
 ng this event (which includes the TAB meeting\, setting up and cleaning up
  for the Poetry Slam!) you can receive 4 Student Service Learning Hours (S
 SL).</p>\n<p><strong>How to join:</strong>&nbsp\;Print the volunteer form 
 from our website or ask for one at the information desk. Have your guardia
 n sign and bring it to the meeting.</p>\n<p><strong>Volunteer application:
