Ever wonder what the old downtown library looked like when it was first built? Curious about whether the library eve r loaned record albums or Super 8 movies? Find your answers in this exhibi t that will be displayed at Santori Library throughout the month of April! Learn about how your library's collection\, tech\, and facilities have ad apted over its 142 year history to meet the needs of its growing and ever- changing community. When the Carnegie library opened at Benton and Stolp A ves. in 1904\, an article in the Aurora Daily News proclaimed\, "Let every citizen feel that the Aurora public library is [their] own institution." While the world has changed drastically over the past century\, that senti ment has remained constant. The library is your space\, and we hope you fe el that you belong here.
\nFind this exhibit at the Santori Library from Monday\, April 3 through Sunday\, April 30. Then\, it will be on disp lay at the Eola Road Branch in May and West Branch in July!
