DESCRIPTION:Celebrate National Poetry Month by entering our first ever tee
 n poetry contest!\nYouth in grades 7-12 can submit an original poem for a 
 chance to win a gift card and have their poem printed in a booklet antholo

 ries: 7-8\, 9-10\, and 11-12. The top five poems in each grade category wi
 ll have their poems printed in a booklet anthology that will be distribute
 d to the finalists and be on display at the library.</p>\n<p>The top two p
 oems in each category will receive a gift card prize: $50 for first place 
 and $30 for second place.</p>\n<p>Pick up an entry form at Claremont Libra
 ry. You can submit the completed entry form and your poem by dropping it o
 ff or mailing it to Claremont Helen Renwick Library. You can also email yo

 pespinosa@library.lacounty.gov</a>.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The deadline for submis
 sion is <strong>April 29\, 2023</strong>. Finalists will be contacted by M
 ay 15.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Contest Rules:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>All poets must be in g
 rades 7-12</li>\n<li>All submissions must be original works written by the
  young poet submitting the entry</li>\n<li>Only one (1) entry per poet</li
 >\n<li>Entries must not exceed 25 lines or more than one page in length</l
 i>\n<li>Poems should be typed or printed in neat handwriting</li>\n<li>Win
 ners must be able to pick up their prize by May 31\, 2023</li>\n</ul>\n<p>
