 <p>Robert (Bob) Carr has worked as an archaeologist with the State of Flor
 ida and the National Park Service\, became Dade County&rsquo\;s first arch
 aeologist\, and retired as the County director of Historic Preservation. H
 e is currently director of the Florida not-for-profit Archaeological and H
 istorical Conservancy and author of numerous articles and two books&nbsp\;
 Digging Miami&nbsp\;and&nbsp\;The Everglades&nbsp\;(co-authored with Timot
 hy A. Harrington). He has just completed a novel about the Miami Circle ti
 tled&nbsp\;The Python Conspiracy.</p>\n<p><strong>About Miami Pioneers and
  Natives of Dade Historical Society</strong></p>\n<p>The&nbsp\;Miami Pione
 ers&nbsp\;is Dade County's legacy historical organization\, originally fou
 nded in 1936 by prominent settlers and business leaders who arrived in Mia
 mi in the pioneer era before the year 1900.&nbsp\;The&nbsp\;Natives of Dad
 e&nbsp\;was incorporated in 1986 by a group of local history enthusiasts b
 orn in Dade County.&nbsp\;The groups merged on July 8\, 2002.</p>\nhttps:/
