 f time outdoors. After completing a PhD in math at Michigan State in 1971\
 , he taught at Boise State for a year and the University of Tennessee in K
 noxville for 4 years before settling down at UCA for 34 years in the math 
 department. David joined the Ozark Society in 1978\, and has served in sev
 eral capacities over the years\, currently as Past President.</p>\n<p></p>
