ir is described as being &lsquo\;full of insight\, revelation\, self-exami
 nation\, and hard-won wisdom.&rsquo\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Certainly\, Harry doe
s have an interesting tale to tell. But is there more?</p>\n<p>How deep is
his self-reflection\, how wise are his insights and how authentic are his
  revelations?</p>\n<p>Melbourne Psychologist\, Peter Quarry\, who in 2022
published his own memoir\, dissects Harry&rsquo\;s book looking for eviden
ce of the increased self-awareness\, the understanding of the humanity we
all share\, as well as those &lsquo\;aha&rsquo\; moments that writing a me
moir invariably triggers.</p>\n<p>Peter Quarry is best known as the onscre
en psychologist delivering advice on relationship problems\, achieving pro
fessional success and psychological wellbeing with what the Boston Busines
s Journal described as &ldquo\;great clarity and affability&rdquo\;.</p>\n
<p>Having studied at Melbourne University in the mid 1970s\, he worked ini
tially as a counsellor of the unemployed\, then pivoted to being a sought
after pubic speaker and workshop facilitator.</p>\n<p>In the 1980s\, he co
-foundered Ash Quarry Productions and became the expert presenter of corpo
rate training videos that\, over the following 20 prolific years\, gained
global recognition. Many were translated into multiple languages and won d
ozens of international awards.</p>\n<p>By the early 1990s\, Peter came to
the notice of &lsquo\;Good Morning Australia&rsquo\;\, hosted by the legen
dary Bert Newton where he secured a regular slot as the sometimes fun\, so
 metimes serious &lsquo\;Resident Psychologist&rsquo\;.</p>\n<p>In 2022\, h
 e published his first book\, <em>If I Were You &ndash\; A psychologist pit
 s himself on the couch</em>.</p>\nhttps://grlc.libnet.info/event/8248610
