In commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day\, Pearl &ldquo\;Peppy&rdquo\; Margolis\, a Second-Generation Holocaust Survivor\, \;will share the truly moving story of her parents\, who defied the odds and survived the death camps\, married in a displaced pers ons camp (where Peppy was born)\, and moved to America. &ldquo\;Since my p arents could not talk\, I was their voice".
\nPeppy Margolis current ly works for the Stockton Center on Successful Aging at Stockton Universit y\, Galloway\, NJ\, planning and presenting programs for older adults. In 1984 she received a scholarship to study in Yad Vashem\, Israel\, and bega n a career in Holocaust education. Peppy wrote the first elementary curric ulum in the US\, which was endorsed by The NJ Commission on Holocaust Educ ation. In the past\, as the Director of the Raritan Valley Community Colle ge Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies\, she organized programs a bout The Holocaust. Peppy produced three films including &ldquo\; The Seco nd Generation\, Ripples from The Holocaust\,&rdquo\; which examines the ch allenges of being a Child of Survivors. \;
