The Yiddish Book Center&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;S tories of Exile&rdquo\; Reading Groups for Public Libraries is a reading a nd discussion program to engage teens and adults in thinking about experie nces of displacement\, migration\, and diaspora. In this program\, librari ans organize reading groups to discuss three books of Yiddish literature i n translation\, and one book related to the experience of a community serv ed by their library. The Yiddish Book Center&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;Stories of E xile&rdquo\; Reading Groups for Public Libraries is made possible by a gif t from Sharon Karmazin.

In conjunction with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the American Library Association's A mericans and the Holocaust: A Traveling Exhibition for Libraries\, the Kok omo-Howard County Public Library has planned an accompanying event series to explore important themes related to the exhibition.
