 uo\;s degree in criminal justice. He is a dedicated Senior Homicide Detect
 ive with the Chesapeake Police Department with over 27 years of experience
 . He has investigated over 300 death scenes and has a well-rounded proven 
 background in investigative strategies related to of all types of fataliti
 es. He has been recognized by many of his peers as an expert in the field 
 of Cellular Survey Analysis based on well-versed and documented successful
  prosecutions using key and facets of this technology\, such as writing se
 arch warrants for cellular devices\, obtaining call detail records\, and m
 apping the data. This skill allowed Detective Thomas to solve a case of a 
 twelve-year-old girl\, kidnapped from South Norfolk and taken to Mexico. U
 sing Cellular Analysis techniques and strategies he was able to locate and
  return the girl to her family. He has effectively prosecuted cases of bur
 glary\, larceny\, forgery\, aggravated assault\, missing persons\, robbery
 \, abduction\, murder for hire\, and homicide. And in doing so\, Detective
  Thomas has received numerous Meritorious Service Awards\, such as the Ham
 pton Roads Top Cop Award in 2000\, the Great Bridge Ruritan Club Police Of
 ficer of the Year in 2000\, and the Virginia Homicide Investigators Award
