 against government-enforced wearing of the hijab\, a failing economy\, an 
 ineffective new president\, and the looming succession of the country&rsqu
 o\;s leader\, Ayatollah Khamenei. Abroad\, renewal of the Iran nuclear dea
 l seemed doubtful and tensions remain high between Iran\, Israel\, and Ara
 b states. Many Iranians have lost hope of a better future\, and the countr
 y seems at a crossroads. How should the United States deal with it?</p>\n<

 /><strong>About Great Decisions:</strong> Great Decisions is America's lar
 gest discussion program on world affairs. The program model involves readi
 ng the Great Decisions Briefing Book (optional)\, and meeting in a Discuss
 ion Group to discuss critical global issues facing America today. Each mee
 ting begins with a 30-minute film on the discussion topic and is followed

 the start time. A library card and PIN is required for registration. If yo
