DESCRIPTION:This workshop is designed for sighted people to learn or impro
 ve their guiding techniques in order to assist people who are blind and pa

 ignified ways of facilitating conversation\, guide dogs and service dogs\,
  and the white cane.</p>\n<p>Participants will have an opportunity to try 
 out practical techniques in sighted guiding with a partner\, including giv
 ing directions and what to describe as you are doing it.</p>\n<p>This prog
