Art Like an Illustrator gives kids a chanc e to create all types of art inspired by children&rsquo\;s illustrators! E ach session we will focus on a different illustrator by reading a book (or two) that they illustrated and then we'll dive into an art project in the ir style.
\nArtists participating in this session of Art Like an Ill ustrator will be creating something as long lasting and cherished as Debor ah Marcero&rsquo\;s timeless children&rsquo\;s books\, a memory jar of the ir own! We will be painting our jars in the style of Ms. Marcero&rsquo\;s illustrations\, which are just as heartwarming as the stories she tells\, before taking our jars home to fill with precious memories and keepsakes. Join us this week wearing clothes/shoes that can get messy! \;
\nFor ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each chi ld separately that will be attending the program using the child's first a nd last name. We will meet in the Pikes Peak room of the Windsor-Severance Library.
