 ></p>\n<p>These 60-minute sessions give residents the opportunity to try t
 he sport of Dragon Boat in a safe and fun environment at no charge. Paddle
 rs will begin their session with a mini on land training session hosted by
  local dragon boat extraordinaire Jeff Aldridge\, Owner of&nbsp\;Corporate
  Recess. Paddlers will enjoy learning about the sport of dragon boating\, 
 boat safety\, paddling techniques and commands. Following this\, paddlers 
 will proceed onto the water in a dragon boat to enjoy a paddle on Barrie&r
 squo\;s beautiful Kempenfelt Bay. A Personal Floatation Device and Paddle 
 will be provided. Please arrive 15 mins early for paddler check-in and equ
 ipment fitting.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Ages 14+</p>\n<p>Registration is required.<
 /p>\n<p>Do note\, this program is not hosted at the Library. Registered Pa
 ddlers will be asked to meet&nbsp\;at the Barrie Dragon Boat Festival shed
  at the edge of Heritage Park. The Learn to Paddle sessions are held on Ke
 mpenfelt Bay launching from the docks in the City of Barrie Marina (next t
