  representative works including poems by AE Stallings (&ldquo\;Olives&rdqu
 o\;)\, Kim Addonizio ("Sonnenzio on a Line From Drayton&rdquo\;)\,&nbsp\;a
 nd Terrance Hayes (&ldquo\;Pittsburgh&rdquo\;). We'll also experiment with
  exercises that will help us write our own&nbsp\;constrained&nbsp\;poems\,
  ones that we&rsquo\;ll workshop in class.</p>\n<p>Because constrained poe
 try asks us to be resourceful within parameters\, it invites us to break t
 hrough some of our own barriers as poets\, often helping us to create unex
 pectedly funnier or fuller poems than we might otherwise!"</p>\n<p><em>Thi
