DESCRIPTION:Deise Jefinny is a Brazilian American Polish photojournalist a
 nd entrepreneur based in South Florida for the past 20 years..\nhttps://br

 aphs that I made of&nbsp\;Brazilian Female Singers throughout my career as
  a photographer in Brazil. The images were made on my Nikon FM2&nbsp\; &nb
 sp\;SLR manual camera with Nikon lens 50mm\, F 28-70mm and 135mm before di
 gital Era. &nbsp\;I explore the lights that I have from the stage avoiding
  the use of flash. I worked with 400 ISO film to control the singers movem
 ent. The original prints and negatives of the black and white photos were 
 developed on the dark room.</p>\n<p>My original camera is being displayed 
 at the exhibit together with rolls of film\, index prints and other vintag
 e photograph items and clips from covers of newspapers critiques from the 
 events.</p>\n<p>Some of the images were previously shown at art exhibits o
 n Brazil.</p>\n<p>The images selected for this exhibit show the expressive
  strength of these women\, the diversity of representation and meanings of
  Brazilian female singers that stand out for their trajectory and contribu
 tion&nbsp\;to Brazilian culture in the music field.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<

 ingers Rita Lee (Tropicalia\, Queen of Brazilian Rock)\, Gal Costa(Tropica
 lia)\, Fafa de Belem( MPB)\, Elza Soares(Samba)\, Fernanda Abreu (Rios&rsq
 uo\; s Funk)\, Cida Moreira ( Blues)\, Daude( MPB\, Soul)\, Lia de Itamara
 ca (Ciranda\,Brazilian Folk Music)\, Maria Creuza(Samba and Bossa Nova)\, 
 Sandra de Sa (Brazilian Black Music\,Soul\,Samba-Rock)\, Zelia Duncan\,Adr
 iana Calcanhoto\, Zeze Mota(MPB)\, Rita Beneditto ( MPB\, Afoxe\, Electron
 ic)\, Elba Ramalho(MPB\,Queen of Forro)\, Esmeria Bulgari (Rock Psicodelia

 rs and fans of Brazilian Culture and Music.</p>\n<p>Brazilian Divas will b
