 contexts for these stories translated from Yiddish.</p>\n<p><strong>Regist
 ration is required to receive the Zoom link</strong>. Participants in Cent
 ral Ohio who are registered for the reading group will receive a copy of&n
 bsp\;<em>On the Landing</em>&nbsp\;to read and return to the library after
  the book discussion. <em>On the Landing</em>&nbsp\;is also accessible on<
 a href="https://www.hoopladigital.com/">&nbsp\;Hoopla</a> &nbsp\;for parti
 cipants outside of Central Ohio.</p>\n<p>Bexley Public Library has been se
 lected as a participating library for the Yiddish Book Center's "Stories o
 f Exile" Reading Groups for Public Libraries for 2023. We began this year-
 long series with an in person discussion on May 15 of&nbsp\;<em>On the Lan
 ding: Stories of Yenta Mash\,</em>&nbsp\;but we're offering a virtual sess
 ion as well due to patron feedback.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><span sty
 le="text-decoration: underline\;"><em>About the reading group:</em></span>
 </p>\n<p>The Yiddish Book Center&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;Stories of Exile&rdquo\;
  Reading Groups for Public Libraries is a reading and discussion program t
 o engage teens and adults in thinking about experiences of displacement\, 
 migration\, and diaspora. In this program\, librarians organize reading gr
 oups to discuss three books of Yiddish literature in translation\, and one
  book related to the experience of a community served by their library. Th
 e Yiddish Book Center&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;Stories of Exile&rdquo\; Reading Gr
 oups for Public Libraries is made possible by a gift from Sharon Karmazin.
