 h traditional African music background in a family that produced some of t
 he most respected mbira players in his ancestral homestead in Chiweshe\, M
 azowe District (Mashonaland Central Province of Zimbabwe). He is also the 
 KOPN radio host for "Motherland Jam" and "Reggae Party."</p>\n<p>Families\
 , ages 4 and older are welcome.</p>\n<p>This event is part of "<a href="ht
 tps://www.makemusicday.org/columbiamo/">Make Music Columbia</a>\," a wild 
 and wonderful mix of free musical events presented by the City of Columbia
  Office of Cultural Affairs. This is a local version of "Make Music Day\,"
  a global music celebration that takes place on the summer solstice each y
 ear and brings people of all ages and skill levels together to make music.
