\nTom Rachman was born in London in 1974 and raised in V ancouver. He attended the University of Toronto and Columbia Journalism Sc hool\, then worked as a journalist for the Associated Press in New York an d Rome and for the International Herald Tribune in Paris. His first novel\ , The Imperfectionists\, was an international bestseller\, transl ated into twenty-five languages. He lives in London.
\nIan Brown is an award-winning author and a feature writer for The Globe and Mail. He \;began life as a business reporter a t the Financial Post and Maclean's Magazine. He has founded a publishing c ompany\, Invisible Books\, an online magazine\, Open Letters< /em>\, and worked in radio at the CBC and NPR. He is a winner of numerous National Newspaper and National Magazine Awards.
