 ructors will guide you through the fundamentals\, from how to cut pieces a
 nd sew them together\, to techniques that use textiles and color in fun\, 
 creative ways.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>In this beginners-level sewing class\, parti
 cipants will create a sample block which can be used as part of a larger s
 ewing project like a placemat\,&nbsp\;table runner or pillow cover.&nbsp\;
  All supplies and sewing tools (including machines) will be provided.</p>\
 n<p>Ages 16 and up. Limited to 8 participants\, and registration is requir
 ed.</p>\n<p>Read the sewing machine waiver statement and give your consent
  in the question below.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>"I understand and freely and knowin
 gly assume the potential risks involved with using a sewing machine. If th
 ere are any issues that will affect participation in this event or if a sp
 ecial accommodation needs to be made\, I will contact the library at least
  one week prior to the event.</p>\n<p>I do hereby waive\, release and hold
