 ivist\, historian\, and professor Dr. Lopez Matthews\, State&nbsp\;Archivi
 st and Public Records Administrator as he walks us through emancipation in
  Maryland.</p>\n<p>Dr. Matthews has a PH.D. in United States History and c
 urrently serves as the State Archivist and Public Records Administrator fo
 r the District of Columbia. He is active as the senior advisor for the US 
 Truth\, Racial Healing\, and Transformation Movement and is an Adjunct Pro
 fessor of History at Bowie State University.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The program wi
 ll take place at the Brigadier General Library&nbsp\;and it will also be o
