  and increased visibility of lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, and transgender (L
 GBT+) people as a social group. The term &ldquo\;Pride&rdquo\; (or &ldquo\
 ;Gay Pride&rdquo\; earlier) was coined by Thom Higgins\, an activist in Mi
 nnesota along with several other prominent gay-rights activists in the lat
 e 1960s. Common symbols of Pride include the rainbow flag\, the lowercase 
 Greek letter lambda (&lambda\;)\, the pink triangle\, and the black triang
 le.</p>\n<p>This event is held in-person. LA County Public Health strongly
  encourages masks and physical distancing indoors regardless of vaccinatio
 n status. Masks will continue to be available for customers upon request.&
