  the history of Egyptology with the November 4th centenary of the discover
 y of the intact tomb of King Tutankhamun by Howard Carter and Lord Carnarv
 on in 192. This discovery still captures the public imagination.</p>\n<p>I
 n part 1\, Sherine ElSebaie followed the footsteps of the excavators leadi
 ng to the discovery and explored the unique contents of the tomb. But don'
 t worry if you missed it. This lecture\, Part 2\, will explore the afterma
 th of the opening of the chamber and its impact on Egyptomania. Dr. Sherin
 e El Sebaie is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Toronto.</p>\n<p><st
 rong>About our Speaker: Sherine El Sebaie</strong></p>\n<p>Sherine El Saba
 ie specializes in ancient Egyptian religion and languages with a particula
 r interest in the history of archeology\, tourism\, and cultural heritage.
  Born and raised in Cairo\, Egypt\, Sherine El Sebaie got a B.Sc.from Helw
 an University. She then pursued graduate studies in Egyptology at the Univ
 ersity of Toronto\, where she is now an advanced Ph.D. candidate. She spec
 ializes in ancient Egyptian religion and languages with a particular inter
 est in Egypt&rsquo\;s ecology. Sherine taught for Ain Shams University\, C
 airo\, the Royal Ontario Museum\, and for the Society for the Study of Egy
 ptian Antiquities\, Toronto.</p>\n<p><strong>About Cambridge Third Age Lea
