 moderated by Shawn Vestal of The Spokesman-Review.</p>\n<p>Our panel inclu
 des:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Karen Dorn Steele\, a renowned investigative journalis
 t\, known for her groundbreaking work on nuclear secrecy\, for which she h
 as won numerous national awards. She is also widely seen as a pillar in th
 e community for her social justice advocacy.</li>\n<li>Samantha Wohlfeil\,
  a dedicated journalist at The Inlander\, focusing on environmental\, rura
 l\, and cultural issues. She has been recognized for her sensitive investi
 gative reporting since joining the team in 2017.</li>\n<li>Tracy Simmons\,
  executive director of Spokane FaVS News\, a non-profit digital journalism
  platform focusing on faith and values news. She also serves as a Scholarl
 y Assistant Professor of Journalism at Washington State University.</li>\n
 <li>Amanda Roley\, a reporter from KREM TV news. Amanda's work has brought
  critical news stories to Spokane's television audience with clarity and p
 oise</li>\n<li>Valerie Osier\, a journalist with RANGE Media\, who discove
 red her passion for journalism during her community college years and curr
 ently serves as the Audience and Membership Editor at RANGE.</li>\n<li>Emm
 a Epperly\, known for her timely and accurate reporting for The Spokesman-
 Review since arriving as an intern in 2019.</li>\n<li>Leonard Kransdorf\, 
 formerly a journalist with a varied career in newspapers from Florida to N
 orth Dakota\, now a library clerical assistant. His diverse journalistic e
 xperience across multiple beats adds to the wealth of perspectives on the 
 panel.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The panelists will explore the challenges and oppor
 tunities within modern journalism\, how the field has evolved\, and what t
 he future might hold for journalism in the digital age. They will share pe
 rsonal anecdotes\, experiences\, and observations that illuminate their pa
 ths in journalism and provide valuable insights to audience members.</p>\n
