Topic: What is a Museum?

The New O rleans Museum of Art and the New Orleans Public Library have partnered to bring together art and early literacy activities for this community progra m designed for children ages 2-5 years old and their caregivers. Inspired by NOMA's \;Mini Masters\, an arts-integration program that p rovides visual arts experiences and museum interaction for preschool stude nts\, participants of \;Mini Masters at the Library \;wil l engage in hands-on art making activities and develop the early literacy skills needed to become ready to read. \;
