Andrea L. Rogers is a citizen of the Chero kee Nation and writes fiction and nonfiction for young people and adults. She grew up in Tulsa\, Oklahoma\, but currently is a doctoral student in E nglish at the University of Arkansas. She graduated with an MFA from the I nstitute for American Indian Arts.
