  medical students at McMaster University\, Michael G. DeGroote\, School of
  Medicine\, Waterloo Regional Campus!</p>\n<p>This initiative is intended 
 for children ages 3-9 in which they will role play medical scenarios with 
 their plush teddy bears (Please bring your favourite bear!) Kids will work
  through a variety of medical situations with their teddy bears including 
 routine doctor&rsquo\;s visits and hospital activities (such as X-rays\, v
 accines\, medications) and health promotion stations (such as dental care\
 , physical well-being\, hand hygiene).</p>\n<p>The aim of the Teddy Bear C
 linic is to alleviate any fears children might have with doctors\, hospita
 ls or medical procedures by providing them the opportunity to familiarize 
 themselves with the healthcare system in a safe and fun environment! The T
 eddy Bear Clinic will also help kids explore any fears they might have sur
 rounding their own illness or that of a loved one.&nbsp\; For children age
