 n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>1) Decorate a pumpkin or gourd (real or artificial) to
  look like any character from a book. Examples include: Clifford\, Harry P
 otter or Pete the Cat.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>2)&nbsp\; Pumpkins and gour
 ds may be decorated with paint\, markers\, colored paper\, felt\, glue\, g
 litter etc. (carved pumpkins and gourds will not be accepted).</p>\n<p>&nb
 sp\;</p>\n<p>3)&nbsp\; The entries may have non-pumpkin components\, such 
 as hats\, glasses\, or wigs\, but the main portion of the entry must be a 
 pumpkin or a gourd.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Entries will be divided into t
 he following age categories: ages 6 &amp\; under\, ages 7-12\, ages 13-17\
 , ages 18 and older (one entry per person please)</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>

 > Entries will be accepted on October 12th and 13th during open library ho
 urs. Entry forms will be filled out at the time of submission. Entries wil
 l be put on display in the library as soon as they begin arriving.</p>\n<p
 >&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>Voting:</strong> The public will vote for their f
 avorite entry in each age category. Voting starts on October 17th and will
  end at noon on October 20th. The winners will be notified on the 20th.</p
 >\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>Pick-Up:</strong> Entries can be taken home 
 after 12:00 PM on October 20th. All entries must be picked up by the time 
 the library closes on October 24th. Any remaining entries/accessories will
  be discarded.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>We will be awarding prizes to the w
 inner of each category. This year we will be giving away gift cards to Lau
