 sses our humanity and interconnectedness. Drumming is an activity that bri
 ngs people\, groups or communities together. When these two are meshed\, w
 hat we get is a musical gathering depicting our link to one another. Every
 one is immediately connected through the making of music and drumming.</p>
 \n<p>Take part in this interactive program that brings together impromptu 
 musicians (made up of the audience) playing unique beats on the drums and 
 other percussion instruments\, creating rhythmic harmony and celebrating h
 umanity. This is an intergenerational kinesthetic activity that everyone c
 an enjoy regardless of musical ability.</p>\n<p>PLEASE NOTE: Drums will be
  available on a first come\, first served basis.</p>\n<p>This program will
  take place outside in the Naturespace\, at the Eastside Branch. If you ow
 n a drum then please bring it with you. Participants are also asked to bri
 ng their own lawn chairs.</p>\n<p>Presented in partnership with the <a hre

 trong>About the Presenter:</strong></p>\n<p>Babarinde Williams\, ethnomusi
 cologist\, master drummer\, storyteller and motivational speaker has trave
 led throughout his native West Africa studying traditional percussion\, da
 nce\, and storytelling techniques. He has also been featured on Tedtalks (
 University of Windsor) and other academic forums. Babarinde Williams has a
  B.A (Honors) in English and an Education Diploma from George Brown Colleg
